Director of STAR, Diane Griffin, touted the new STARPlus Next Step program indicating it is perfect for patients who want to continue their strengthening and flexibility program with guidance from their experienced STAR athletic trainers. “We’ve found that many of our patients wanted to continue with us after their physical therapy insurance benefits ran out and we built this program specifically with them in mind,” added Diane.
Patients can sign-up for weekly or monthly sessions that last between 45 minutes and 1 hour each, meeting 2 – 3 times per week. Session times and locations are very flexible to meet busy schedules and all sessions are run in the comfort of our STAR facilities. Sessions are currently running at four STAR Locations (Branford, Hamden, Orange and Wallingford) and are available at various blocks of time Monday through Friday.
