Since an ALD diagnosis of their son 21 years ago, Dr. John Kelley and his wife Jean have been tirelessly advocating for a statewide screening program to test all newborns for the disorder in the hope of saving another boy’s life. And now with the help of their work, legislative support from Senator Len Fasano and the efforts of thousands of supporters of the Brian's Hope Foundation, Connecticut has made it law.
And if you'd like to be part of this growing movement to "save the boys" and secure nationwide screening, check out the upcoming Hammerfest Triathlon to support Brian's Hope on 9/18/16 in Branford.
